Every Sunday there is an agricultural and Handicraft market next to the chapel from 10.00-14.00. Here you will find all the best products produced on this land as well as other goods.

Agriculture is the main economic activity of the municipality. All the land is dry and grows vines, onions, vegetables, cereals and potatoes. The most famous landscape of Yaiza is that of La Geria. Two other activities noticable in the municipality are those of animal farming and fishing although nowadays, tourism is playing a bigger role, especially in the town of Playa Blanca which is one of the main resorts on the island and has some of the best quality hotels.
