The stick was used in everyday life as a work tool and for basic domestic use. It was used for guiding the herds, sowing, jumping over fences and streams or simply for walking. The game consisted of hitting your component and not being hit yourself, using good attack and defence tactics. A good player should have good reflexes, agility and strong arms and legs. Nowadays there are several schools of stick fighting in an attempt not to lose the sport.
