Arrieta:There are several restaurants next to the sea. A lot of them have terraces where we can sample the freshest fish, right on the sea shore. Typical Canarian seafood and fish is served in this village where the restaurants only open at lunch time and close at night.The following restaurants are recommended : El Amanecer, La Nasa, Los Charcones, La Casa de la Playa or el Chiringuito de la playa.
Órzola: This is the port where you catch the ferries to La Graciosa. In this village, there are several restaurants where you can sample the best sea food, freshly caught around the Chinijo Archipelago, a Canarian Marine Reserve. The following restauants are recommended : el Charco Viejo, Os Gallegos or el Bahía de Órzola.
Haría: The most important day in Haría is Saturday, market day. If you are looking for peace and quiet, it is better to visit on the other days. Restaurants, such as La Frontera are recommended for their excellent grilled meats as are La Puerta Verde and La Casa del Cura.
La Santa: Situated on the other side of the cliff, this fishing village offers fresh fish in the majority of its restaurants.
San Bartolomé: El Monumento al Campesinois one of the restaurants where you can sample some of the best Canarian food.
Playa Honda: This town is situated in the municipality of San Bartolomé, next to the airport. On its sea front there are several places where you can eat good quality food at a good price such as Restauante Mesana and La Marea. The centre of Playa Honda has other restaurants such as El Figón de los Dos where you can sample traditional Spanish food, Casa Adán famous for the quality of its food and Aguaviva, spcialising in creative cuisine.

Puerto del Carmen: This is the resort with the most restaurants, catering for all tastes from Chinese food, Japanese food, Indian food, Mexican food, Spanish food and or course international and Canarian food. Recommended restaurants are El Puerto Viejo, El Asador and restaurants from the Lanni’s chain.
Teguise: Several restaurants are recommended here. Sunday is market day and the busiest day so if you are looking for peace and quiet chose another day. Some restaurants which are recommended are Casa Cejas, specialising in modern Canarian cooking, El Ryad, specialising in Moroccan food and Casa Cristóbal, specialising in traditional Canarian food.
Costa Teguise: This is the third resort in Lanzarote and has a variety of restaurants ranging from international food to traditional and new Canarian cuisine. Recommended restaurants are La Jordana, Isla Bonita and Neptuno.
Tinajo: Las Cadenas is one of the most popular restaurants with local people because of its excellent meat. It is situated in La Vegueta
El Golfo: This small fishing village offers a wide range of restaurants, right next to the sea, where you can sample fresh fish and sea food. The following restaurants are recommended El Bogavante, Casa Torano and Mar Azul.
Playa Blanca: In this resort town, there are several different options. Restaurants famous for their culinary innovation such as Aroma Yaiza or for more traditional food, El Almacen de la Sal as well as all the restaurants to be found in Rubicón Marina such asLa Casa Roja, La Giraldao El Bodegón del Maño.
Restaurant in Playa Blanca, LanzaroteLas Salinas de Janubio: Here you will find traditional food from Lanzarote along with superb views of the salt factories of Janubio.
Uga: Casa Gregorio is a family run restaurant which offers traditional home cooking and specialising in fried kid goat. There are several places specialising in meat such as La Bodeguita de Uga.
Yaiza: La Era is a restaurant which has been awarded several prizes and whose menu offers a wide range of traditional Canarian dishes along with new Canarian cuisine.The restaurant is an old Canarian house which is well worth visiting.
Montañas del Fuego: In the restaurant El Diablo you can eat meat cooked by the heat of the volcano which gives it a very special flavour.
Puerto Calero: Here there is a wide range of restaurants but the most recommendable is without doubt, Restaurante Amura, famous for its excellent new cuisine.
Mácher: Half way between the south and the centre of the island you will find a new restaurant, recently opened and specialising in creative Canarian cuisine. La Tegala is located in a building which was preselected for a prize in Canarian architecture. Highly recommended.
Nearly every village in Lanzarote has a teleclub, a kind of social club where local people meet and where you can sample traditional dishes at a very good price. Recommended are the following teleclubs : Conil, Tao, Nazaret, Mozaga, Famara or Teguise amongst others. Don't forget to visit them !
